An American troupe visiting Edinburgh wants to produce a musical in town but has trouble getting backers. The cash-strapped theater director John, thinks that his chorus girl Janet, is B.G. Bruno’s girlfriend and makes her the lead. She meets Bruno, thinking he’s a reporter not a millionaire mogul. More confusion follows. Eventually, amidst comedic mishaps, the musical becomes a success and Bruno finds true love.
