Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic (2010)

„Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic“ is a 2010 adult animated dark fantasy film, based on the Dante’s Inferno video game by Jonathan Knight that is itself loosely based on „Inferno“, the first part of Dante Alighieri’s 14th-century narrative poem „Divina Commedia“.

Directed by Mike Disa (supervising director), Victor Cook, Sangjin Kim, Shûkô Murase, Jong-Sik Nam, Lee Seung-Gyu and Yasuomi Umets; screenplay by Brandon Auman.

Dante journeys through the nine circles of Hell – limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery – in search of his true love, Beatrice.
