„Steamboat Willie“ is a 1928 animated short film directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks.

Mickey Mouse is a mischievous deckhand on a riverboat that is under the command of the tyrannical Captain Pete.

The animated film is considered the debut of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, although both characters had already appeared in a test screening of Plane Crazy a few months earlier. Steamboat Willie was the third of Mickey's films to be produced, but the first to be distributed, as Disney, after seeing The Jazz Singer, had committed to producing one of the first fully synchronized talkies.
