Impossible Journey is an animated short film that addresses the urgent crisis in maternal health care in the US.

The film was built by a predominantly female team over a process that took more than a year, produced in Brazil and NYC. Each frame was printed and painted meticulously to reveal the layers of reality that our protagonist experiences throughout the story. Every aspect of the animation has metaphorical construction and meaning, just like all the project built around it.

Impossible Journey ist ein animierter Kurzfilm, der die akute Krise der Gesundheitsversorgung von Müttern in den USA thematisiert.

Der Film wurde von einem überwiegend weiblichen Team in einem Prozess erstellt, der mehr als ein Jahr dauerte und in Brasilien und New York produziert wurde. Jedes Einzelbild wurde sorgfältig gedruckt und gemalt, um die Realitätsebenen zu enthüllen, die unsere Protagonistin im Laufe der Geschichte erlebt. Jeder Aspekt der Animation hat eine metaphorische Konstruktion und Bedeutung, genau wie das gesamte Projekt, das um sie herum aufgebaut wurde.
