The Glass Tomb (1955)

„The Glass Tomb“ is a 1955 mystery film directed by Montgomery Tull. The screenplay by Richard H. Landau is based on the 1945 novel „The Outsiders“ (a.k.a. Common People) by A. E. Martin.

Showman Pel Pelham stages a sensational act featuring „Sapolio,” who attempts the world’s longest fast in a glass cage. However, the performance is overshadowed by a blackmail scheme from Rena, an old friend’s former lover, who turns up dead at a party, making Pel’s friend Tony the prime suspect.
