„The Crooked Circle“ is a 1932 pre-Code comedy-mystery film directed by H. Bruce Humberstone from a screenplay by Ralph Spence and Tim Whelan.

A group of amateur detectives sets out to expose The Crooked Circle, a secretive group of hooded occultists.
When a gang of amateur sleuths known as the Sphinx Club sends a crook to jail, the criminal’s sinister Crooked Circle organization plots revenge. They lure the Sphinxes to a reportedly haunted house in a plot to murder them all.
