"Outrage!" is a 1986 thriller directed by Walter Grauman from a screenplay by Henry Denker, based on his 1982 novel of the same name about vigilante justice.

Based on fact, OUTRAGE tells the shocking story of Dennis Riordan, a middle-aged husband and father whose daughter is brutally robbed, raped and murdered. Although the killer confesses to the crime, a legal loophole makes it impossible to bring him to trial, so Riordan takes the law into his own hands.
