„Car of Dreams“ is a 1935 romantic comedy film directed by Graham Cutts and Austin Melford. The screenplay by Austin Melford is an adaption by Stafford Dickens and Richard Benson of the screenplay for the film „Meseautó“ by László Vadnay and Miklós Vitéz.
The son of a factory owner falls in love with one of his father’s workers.
A pretty young factory worker is window-shopping at a Rolls-Royce dealership, and dreamily mentions that she would love to have a car like that. The son of the factory’s owner happens to be there and, falling for her, winds up buying the car for her. He doesn’t tell her who he is, but he doesn’t know that she is one of his father’s employees. Complications ensue.

Der Sohn des Fabrikbesitzers ist zufällig anwesend, verliebt sich in sie und kauft den Wagen für sie. Er sagt ihr nicht, wer er ist, aber er weiß auch nicht, dass sie eine Angestellte seines Vaters ist. Es kommt zu Komplikationen.
