„Seven Chances“ is a 1925 silent comedy film directed by Buster Keaton, based on the play of the same name by Roi Cooper Megrue and the screenplay by Clyde Bruckman, Jean C. Havez and Joseph A. Mitchell.
The comedy by and starring Buster Keaton is about the successful businessman Jimmy, who would inherit seven million dollars if he managed to get married within a few hours. Keaton thought this movie was weak and only agreed to shoot it because he was in financial difficulties himself! However, the film was well received by critics - but despite its commercial success, it is not one of his most important films.

Die Komödie von und mit Buster Keaton handelt von dem erfolgreichen Geschäftsmann Jimmy, der sieben Millionen Dollar erben würde, wenn es ihm gelänge, innerhalb weniger Stunden zu heiraten. Keaton hielt diesen Film für schwach und hatte den Dreharbeiten nur zugestimmt, weil er selber in Geldsorgen steckte! Von der Kritik aber wurde der Film recht wohlwollend aufgenommen – dennoch gehört das Werk trotz seines kommerziellen Erfolgen nicht zu seinen bedeutendsten Filmen.
